Trade show booth QR: demos, lead capture, and post-show follow-up
One stable scan target for the week, with room to promote today’s session and tomorrow’s giveaway without new print.
Booth teams juggle demos, swag, and badge scans. A single primary QR on the back wall or counter can anchor the whole week if the destination flexes with your hour-by-hour plan.
Before the floor opens
Land on a page that states booth hours, what you are showing, and one obvious lead path. Test on conference Wi‑Fi and cellular; exhibitor networks are notorious for captive portals that break automated previews.
During the show
- Update the hero to highlight the live stage time or contest window.
- If a form endpoint fails, swap the redirect to a backup collection tool without reprinting vinyl.
- Keep a printed short verbal URL next to the code for people who prefer typing.
After teardown
Point the same link to a thank-you page, on-demand recording, or sales routing. Attendees often scan from photos days later; do not leave them on a dead “see us at booth 412” screen.
